Brass-slide C-extension

Push up the brass slide using left hand thumb on the outer side of the slide.

Pull down the brass slide using left hand first finger on the inner side of the slide.

Leave the brass slide according to your musical desires from E to C.

Touch the guide point to find the exact pitch of the notes.

This new extension has been developed through my experiments and experience as a double bass player in the Royal Danish Orchestra with the aim to utilize and optimize the advantages and quality of the old 4-string double basses.

Fitted individually on each single instrument using no saw, drill or screws.

Fixed only by the tension of the E210- and A-string.

Guide point positions can be adjusted according to different strings and mensur.

Weighs only 170 gram.
